1. PURPOSE
The purpose of this User Deletion Policy is to outline the procedures and guidelines for the deletion of user accounts within the DJ Jazzy Jeff App and/or Website. This policy is designed to ensure the secure and responsible management of user data while also complying with relevant privacy regulations.
2. Deletion Process
Users have access to deletion of their accounts anytime by logging into the DJ Jazzy Jeff website (https://djjazzyjeff.com) and select "DELETE" sub-menu option from their ACCOUNT SETTINGS. Users can also submit a formal request via email to johnny@djjazzyjeff.com. The request must come from the user account email address for verification purposes.
3. Deletion Timeframe
Deletion initiated by the user using the DELETE feature on in the website ACCOUNT SETTING are automatically done immediately. Valid email deletion requests are done within 48 hours upon receipt.
5. Data Retention and Backup
Deleted user accounts and associated data will be retained for a minimum period as required by applicable laws and regulations. This retention is essential for legal and auditing purposes. Additionally, backup copies of user data may exist for a limited time. However, such data will not be accessible or used for any purpose other than system restoration.
6. Exceptions to Deletion
In certain circumstances, the DJ Jazzy Jeff App and/or Website may retain user data despite a deletion request, if required by law, to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or for other legitimate business purposes. Users will be informed of such exceptions, as permitted by applicable laws.
7. Communication with Users
The DJ Jazzy Jeff App and/or Website will communicate with users throughout the deletion process, providing confirmation upon receiving the deletion request and notifying the user once the deletion is complete. Users may contact johnny@djjazzyjeff.com for updates on the status of their deletion request.
8. Changes to the Deletion Policy
The DJ Jazzy Jeff App and/or Website reserve the right to modify this User Deletion Policy. Users will be notified of any changes, and the updated policy will be made available on the DJ Jazzy Jeff website.
